Professional Development
Our upskilling curriculum ensures our members are ready to meet the needs of an increasingly complex security environment and deliver the best possible support to our partners. Through weekly in-house development workshops and Chatham House discussions with field leaders, we strengthen our students’ tri-fluency in the geopolitical, economic, and technological arenas of strategic competition.
Research and Production
Our project cells combine teams of ambitious undergraduate students with mentors across the national security and defense innovation ecosystem, in both the public and private sectors. These work with their mentors to identify challenges in their area of focus and direct their research efforts toward areas of maximum impact. From there, they develop concrete deliverables to meet individual partner requirements, ranging from policy recommendations and legislative language to project proposals and prototyping.
Talent Placement
Our partner relationships and leadership connections allow us to connect our members with internships and other opportunities often available exclusively through the Maverick network. This provides our students with first-hand experience in their fields of specialization while delivering top-quality undergraduate talent to organizations across the spectrum of strategic competition in both public and private sectors.
